Georgia Insurance Commissioner equals Customer Service |
Georgia Insurance Commissioner equals Customer Service
John Oxendine is the State of Georgia's Insurance Commissioner and he's been at it for over a decade now. As an insurance agent I've followed the State's handling of storms, hurricane's, etc and have always been really impressed with this guy. He in a stand-up person from what we've seen and I was reading a news letter that Mr. Oxendine put out and was pleasantly surprised how customer service is a huge priority for his office. Insurance consumers can call M-F 8am-7pm for questions or to even have your insurance policy explained to you. In an age of wasting tax dollars, it seems that Georgians are getting their money's worth.
“Our office takes calls Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., so we can offer the convenience of assisting consumers by phone after traditional working hours. The Commissioner also sends field representatives to counties outside the metropolitan Atlanta area at least once a month. Consumers with insurance questions or problems can contact us at 404-656-2070, or toll-free at 1-800-656-2298."
With this past economic tsunami I anticipate that insurance commissioner's offices will be getting a ton of calls from concerned citizens about the financial strength of their insurance company and Mr. Oxendine's system is a good tool to have. At LTCtree the financial security of our long term care insurance carriers is of utmost importance and we have the resources to pull any insurance company's current financial strength ratings anytime. Also, as a consumer its never a bad idea to call your State's Insurance Commissioner's Office with the license number of the agent you're dealing with just to check his or her back ground. We supply ALL our customers our their State specific licence number with every quote packet. In the age of Bernie Madoff it's never a bad idea to do some checking. Thanks for reading our blog today we really appreciate it.
