American General launches a long term care insurance product in 43 states

American General  launches a long term care insurance product in 43 states

As millions of baby-boomers continue to retire American General announced that they are offering a long term care insurance product to them.  The plan is similar to other long term care insurance carrier's plans providing home and facility care coverage.  The American General product will pay monthly benefits with an optional cash benefit payment plan so that you can pay your family members to care for you.

They will be one of the first to offer easy credit card payment methods for people using Visa, Master Card, and even American Express.  From what I've heard there seems to be some form of online application process aimed to speed up the long term care insurance underwriting process which can take 2-3 months at times.

At LTC Tree we work with all the carriers including the new American General plan and shop the market to help our clients find the best deal.  For more information and to have your quotes mailed simply fill in the form below.  Thanks for reading, we really appreciate it.
